01 / THE THINGS THAT CLICK

Connect the dots.

Real problems. Useful standards. Understanding that stays with you.

01 / SEE THE WHOLE PICTURE

One outage. Four teams.

Connect the control room, field crews, customer systems and asset register around the same event.

02 / MAKE THE DATA MEAN SOMETHING

Moving data isn’t integration.

Understand the objects, language and interfaces that help different systems understand each other.

03 / PUT THE STANDARD TO WORK

Map it. Then build it.

Use the Interface Reference Model to connect a standard to the everyday work of a utility.

02 / YOUR LEARNING NOTEBOOK

Start with the fundamentals.

Two courses. Eight modules. A clearer path through utility integration.

03 / THE PERSON BEHIND THE LESSONS

Hi, I’m Karim.

Karim Ali is an engineer who teaches utility system integration: how distribution management, SCADA and enterprise systems share information through the IEC 61968 and CIM standards.

He founded Volt School to explain these standards through worked utility examples, one outage and one interface at a time, in English and Arabic.
